Description
The advent of advanced diagnostic and imaging technology for the operating room (OR) and interventional suites, has made these areas increasingly congested and complex with numerous medical devices and monitors. In addition to booms, tables and lighting, multiple procedural displays, communication system monitors, camera systems, image capturing devices, and medical printers are all quickly becoming associated with a contemporary OR. OR integration (ORI) systems are designed to simplify and streamline the OR by consolidating data, access to video, and controls for all devices through a central console, allowing perioperative personnel to perform many tasks efficiently, without needing to move around the OR, and while ensuring optimum patient safety.
